ProtectionPilot Migration Utility

As the McAfee SMB Edition suites have come to an end-of-sale, McAfee recommends customers to save time and money by migrating their protection to the automated security of McAfee Total Protection Service.

Available for customers migrating from:

• McAfee Active VirusScan (SVM) SMB Edition
• McAfee Active Virus Defense (ADM) SMB Edition

To ease the upgrade to Total Protection Service, McAfee makes available the ProtectionPilot migration utility, that provides the following:

• Easily merge existing ProtectionPilot configurations and user groups into Total Protection Service’s management console, the SecurityCenter
• Automatically import users, groups, and policies from ProtectionPilot’s management console to Total Protection Service’s SecurityCenter management console.
• Automatically remove previous installed VirusScan Enterprise from existing systems before installing Total Protection Service onto desktops, PCs and file servers.

After migration, new installations from McAfee SMB Edition suites to Total Protection Service will report in the McAfee SecurityCenter.
